Ironman

Jacob is proud of his x-ray showing the location of his meta-port. This port allows him to receive medication and fluids without the need to stick him with a needle. The port is also used to take blood samples for testing.

The port is located just below the skin, so he will be able to take showers and later this summer he will be able to go swimming without having to remove any equipment. He has enjoyed showing all of his visitors his battle scars and describing it's new uses.

Way to go, Jacob!! You're a stud. Always remember, too, that girls love scars. That probably doesn't matter much to you now, but it will some day.

I'm so sorry I have been out of town, but I return Sunday night and will do my best to see you soon. Keep up the good work. I love you and I'm proud of you!

Man, what news. It hit all of us at our home pretty hard. Lukey wants Jacob to know how sad he is but he also knows that God will heal him, as a matter of fact, he has no DOUBT about that b.c God is BIG. Through some tears he wants to say, "Get Better SOON!!" He will be praying for you every night. He LOVED seeing the pictures of you and can't wait to see more. Please, know that we are praying for you and will do anything else we can to help.

Remember........Rangers are Ready, ready for anything, ready to work, play, serve, worship, live and obey God's word. And we will be here doing all those things and especially praying God's healing on you and praying scripture over you for complete and total HEALING.

All of our prayers and blessings,
Luke, Jason, Allison, Claire, and Macie Foisset

Wanted to add some scriptures God has laid on my heart and I will be praying them for you.

Isaiah 58:8
Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.

Jeremiah 33:6
" 'Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.

Malachi 4:2
But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall.

Blessings and Love,

Hi Jacob and all,
We just want you to know that we are praying for you along with so many other people. Abby wants you to get well quick. She is praying for you, too. Hey, did you know that Psalm 91 is God's 911 chapter?
Read Ps. 91:1 and the rest of the chapter...it covers anything that can come our way. It is God's covenant of protection for His kids - and we can just believe Him and put all those promises in our pocket and carry them around. We love you Jacob (and you too, Joshua) and we are praying for all of you. Get well soon.
Cool x-ray, mister Jake!!
Josh, Abby says you are gonna be a really big help to Jacob during this bumpy part of the path.
Mr. Greg, Ms. Stephanie and Abby
God bless you.

Dear Carlson Family,

The Wills Family is praying for you.

(Alexander and Christian are two older Royal Ranger guys that you may have seen with all their badges on their vests; they have helped out in the Discovery Ranger class.)

Our eldest daughter went into the doctor on her 20th birthday with a pain in her hip and within 4 days ended up in the ICU in a coma. (We thought she had the flu; the doctor thought she had bursitis.) Elizabeth had bacteria infection in her blood which tried to kill her. Once Elizabeth was conscious again, 13 days after going into the coma, we discovered that she was paralyzed from the neck down. We spent 3 months in 3 hopsitals...but God is great and very good and Elizabeth is back on her own two feet and enrolled in a summer college course.
